One of the strongest natural desires we all have is freedom of expression.

The MOCAH experience offers the often overlooked and under represented classes of our youth a chance to acknowledge themselves through art.
The MOCAH experience provides artists and non-artists alike with the opportunity to discover their own artistic sensibilities through hands-on art experiences that encourage and nurture the creative process.

Participants work alongside professional artists to create our public art projects and programs.
Students and community members involved in the MOCAH experience play a vital role in the reclamation and preservation of their own community.

The infusion of art, history and culture stimulates community pride, stewardship and neighborhood revitalization.
The MOCAH experience places the public in public art by engaging the community in the creation of our art projects. These projects help transform our neighborhoods into cultural and artistic destinations.

The impact that these projects have on the community are long lasting and reach broad and diverse audiences.

Volunteers gathered at MOCAH on Saturday May 12, 2012 to make phone calls and send out emails to solicit contributions for Art Angels Healing Arts Program and to give area friends, family, community & corporate connections more information about our services and cause.

We would like to thank everyone who was able to volunteer at the Art Angels Tele-a-Friend-a-Thon. Much appreciation also to patrons that were able to donate towards a great cause. This was a great event for everyone and was very successful in spreading the word about Art Angels and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Creativity Cures Campaign!

Art Angels is excited to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the world’s largest national voluntary health organization dedicated to funding research toward cures for blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphomas and myeloma and improving the quality of life of patients and their families raising awareness and money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by May 31st!.
