The MOCAH experience offers the often overlooked and under represented classes of our youth a chance to acknowledge themselves through art.
The MOCAH experience provides artists and non-artists alike with the opportunity to discover their own artistic sensibilities through hands-on art experiences that encourage and nurture the creative process.

Participants work alongside professional artists to create our public art projects and programs.
Students and community members involved in the MOCAH experience play a vital role in the reclamation and preservation of their own community.

Exhibit in Partnership with PrintMatters Houston

PrintHouston 2011 Artworks created by the “Queens of Creativity” to benefit MOCAH youth programs

HOUSTON, TX, June 15, 2011 – On June 25th, 2011 MOCAH’s “Queens of Creativity” (QOC) will hosted an opening reception from 6pm-9pm at MOCAH Studios located at 908 Wood St., Suite #150, Houston, TX 77002.

Continuing with MOCAH’s mission of utilizing art to bring about cultural awareness, the non-profit organization has teamed up with PrintMatters for PrintHouston 2011. In its first year, the print-inspired series of lectures, workshops and gallery showings will be held throughout the City of Houston, with one of the exhibits to include the Queens of Creativity at MOCAH showing June 25- July 17, 2011.
